The Boomerang Maker extracts frames from the source video by seeking through the video element and capturing each frame onto a Canvas. The frames are stored as image blobs for memory efficiency. The tool then creates the boomerang sequence: first playing all frames forward, then in reverse order, for each cycle. During reassembly, frames are drawn onto a recording Canvas in the boomerang sequence and captured via MediaRecorder. The audio is typically muted for boomerang effects (as reversed audio sounds unnatural), but can optionally be included for the forward segments. Frame timing is preserved from the original video for smooth playback.
